It seems like only yesterday that we were selecting the parts and materials for our first MAYA collars and leashes on Wrightsville Beach. As dog owners in 1989 it was difficult if not impossible to find innovative, fun and creative products for our pets. At that time pet stores had a limited offering of products that consisted of solid color collars and leashes and a few basic toys.
